Richmond County Board of Advocates for Mental Health is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit dedicated to advocating for and supporting mental health services in Staten Island, and providing critical charitable resources to clients of the South Beach Psychiatric Center.

Richmond County Mental Health Advocacy

Our Mission & Charitable Purpose

Established in 2010 and organized under Section 402 of the New York Not-For-Profit Corporation Law (Type B corporation), we are a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit with a core mission to advocate for and support mental health services in Richmond County (Staten Island), New York.

Our primary focus is providing critical additional resources in the form of charitable donations to the clients of the South Richmond Mental Health Services of the South Beach Psychiatric Center—an esteemed local 501(c)(3) mental health organization.

We adhere to all 501(c)(3) regulations: no net earnings inure to private individuals, we do not engage in political campaign activity or excessive legislative advocacy, and all assets upon dissolution are distributed to other 501(c)(3) organizations.
